Gold-Filled jewelry has a thick layer of solid gold that is heat and pressure bonded to a center core of high quality jeweler’s brass. With the proper care, gold-filled jewelry will last just as long as solid gold pieces. Pure gold doesn’t tarnish, so the thick layer of gold on gold-filled pieces prevents tarnishing.
Gold-filled pieces can still tarnish, but it takes special circumstances for that to happen. That's why we still recommend for you to take good care of your jewelry.
Gold Filled (if well taken care of) can last for years, making a more affordable alternative to solid gold.
We love that you can wear our gold-filled jewelry everywhere since it's:
*Hypoallergenic
*Tarnish Free
*Durable
*Water Resistant
-STORAGE
Store your jewelry in an air-tight container when not being worn. Oxygen and moisture can tarnish or dull metals. If you’re not going to be wearing a piece for a while, don’t leave it sitting out.
We recommend closing all clasps before storing. Store your pieces individually so they don't tangle or rub and scratch each other.
Although our jewelry is swim, sweat and shower-proof we do recommend avoiding prolonged exposure in chlorine, pools, hot tubs and spas.
Be careful not to expose your jewelry to cleaning and other chemicals.
-CLEANING & POLISHING
Run under lukewarm water and unscented soap to clean your jewelry.
If your jewelry needs polishing or begins to dull, we recommend a Polishing Cloth, but any jewelry cleaner will work.
Grab a piece of string and wrap it around your finger of choice. Mark where the ends overlap using a marker or pen. Measure the length in milliliters with a ruler.
